What is Flyntal?

Flyntal is a professional aviation network designed to connect Professionals and Organisations through structured information about experience, capabilities, availability and operational needs.

Flyntal is not intended to operate as an open social network. Its focus is on making relevant aviation capability easier to structure, understand and connect.

Why does Flyntal exist?

Aviation already has experienced people, capable Organisations and significant technical expertise. Relevant information about qualifications, experience, capability, availability and capacity, however, is often fragmented across different systems, records and organisations.

Flyntal is being developed to make that information easier to structure and connect when it is relevant.

Who is Flyntal for?

Flyntal is designed for aviation Professionals and Organisations across areas including airlines, MROs, CAMOs, OEMs, airports, ground operations, training, aviation service providers and other parts of the aviation industry.

Why join as a Professional?

Flyntal is designed to give aviation Professionals a structured way to represent their professional background, experience, qualifications, capabilities and availability.

Depending on the services available, this information may support professional visibility, relevant opportunities, operational requirements and professional development.

Why join as an Organisation?

Flyntal is designed to help Organisations represent and understand aviation capability through structured information.

Depending on the services available, Organisations may be able to present capabilities and capacity, identify potentially relevant Professionals or Organisations and connect with operational requirements.

Flyntal does not replace an Organisation’s own regulatory, technical, contractual or operational assessment.

Is Flyntal a recruitment platform?

No. Recruitment may be one use case, but Flyntal is not designed as a conventional job board or recruitment network.

Its broader focus includes professional capability, organisational capability, availability, operational needs and trusted information exchange across aviation.

What makes Flyntal different?

Flyntal is being built specifically around aviation capability rather than relying only on conventional CVs, job titles or general professional profiles.

Information may include aviation-specific elements such as aircraft experience, licences, approvals, training, recency, organisational capabilities, locations and availability.

How does Professional visibility work?

Flyntal is designed to provide Professionals with controls over the visibility of their information.

Not all Professional information is intended to be publicly visible. What information can be accessed may depend on visibility settings and other applicable access conditions.

How does verification work?

Flyntal distinguishes between information provided by a participant and information that has been subject to a defined verification process.

Where Flyntal identifies information as verified, that status applies only to the specific information and scope expressly identified.

Verification does not by itself establish competence, regulatory compliance, legal authority or suitability for a particular aviation activity.

What does readiness mean?

Where Flyntal uses readiness information, it is intended to indicate whether relevant information or requirements appear to be in place for a defined context.

Readiness is not a quality score, recommendation, regulatory approval or guarantee that a person or Organisation is suitable for a particular activity.

Can Flyntal support operational requirements?

Flyntal is being developed to support structured operational needs by connecting requirements with potentially relevant capabilities and availability.

A match indicates potential relevance. It does not establish that a person or Organisation is authorised, approved or suitable to perform the activity concerned.

Does Flyntal replace regulatory or organisational checks?

No.

Flyntal profiles, verification states, readiness information, matches and capability information do not replace regulatory, technical, contractual or organisational checks required for an aviation activity.

The relevant parties remain responsible for determining whether a person or Organisation has the required authority, capability and suitability for the activity concerned.

How does Flyntal approach security?

Security, privacy and controlled access form part of Flyntal’s platform design.

Flyntal is developing its security programme alongside the platform, including access controls and structured security testing. More information about the current approach is available on our Trust & Security page.

How does Flyntal handle personal data?

Flyntal processes personal data subject to applicable data protection requirements, including the GDPR where applicable.

Information about the purposes, legal bases, use and handling of personal data is provided in our Privacy Policy.

Does Flyntal use AI?

Flyntal may use AI-assisted or automated technologies for selected functions.

The use of AI does not by itself establish verification, professional authority, regulatory compliance or suitability for an aviation activity. Further information is available on our AI Transparency page.

Is Flyntal international?

Flyntal is being developed for use across the international aviation industry.

The availability of particular services or activities may depend on location, jurisdiction and other applicable requirements.

How can I join Flyntal?

Professionals and Organisations can register through the relevant Flyntal registration process.

The availability of individual services and functions may depend on the current stage of the platform rollout.
